The Journey is more Important.

The Journey is more important than the destination.

A phrase we heard at some point in our life, but what does that really mean? Here is my interpretation of it from my experience recently.

All of us want to be successful. We want to feel like we achieved something; did something with our short earthly vistation called life.

Sometimes that desire for greatness can be a major henderance.

We are all plauged by the things we’ve seen on social media. We see our peers or those younger than us doing much better than us. Though we cheer them on from behind the screen, it can be put a dent in our self essteem.

Life is about experiences. Nothing lasts forever. So enjoy the journey you take because the destinations aren’t forever.

In the Book, “Keep Going” by Austin Kleon, he has a chapter called , “Art is for life, (not the other way around)”

Pretty much instead of killin ourselves trying to live out our dreams or goals, it should be an enjoyable experience and TRUE success is a reflection of that experience.

“The world doesn’t necessarily need more great artists. It needs more decent human beings. Art is for life, not the other way around.” – Austin Kleon

Enjoying the basics of drawing.
